If you choose to provide us with personal information -- as in an e-mail to a staff member, or by filling out a form with your personal information and submitting it to us through our website -- we use that information to respond to your message and to help us get you the information you have requested or record any donation. We will treat emails the same way we treat letters sent to ACRA. We are required to maintain many documents for accounting purposes (if a payment for an event or donation was submitted), but we will not collect your personal information for any purpose other than to respond to you. We will not create profiles with the information you provide. We do not sell or to give any information to any private organizations. Akron Canine Rescued Angels does not & will not collect information for commercial marketing. If you wish to be on our Foster Care contact list, please alert us and we will do so.

If you would like to help Akron Canine Rescued Angels to save rescued dogs and puppies, we would love to have you join our family. There are many, many ways you can help!

Donations:

ACRA can always use donations for the rescue directly for food, leashes, crates, and proper vetting costs. We occasionally run special events to raise money for a special needy canine.

Fosters Needed:

ACRA is currently in need of fosters! If you would like to become a fosterer and help foster our lost canines please contact us! As a fosterer you get to choose which canine that you would like to foster. We want you to have only what you can handle. Fostering is extremely rewarding. ACRA provides the food, crates/kennels, dishes, etc… You provide the love and warmth of a foster home until the dog/pup gets adopted. Many times these canines are adopted quickly and fostering last no more than a couple of weeks, and many times less than that. If you have other animals of your own we will temperament test your new foster friend prior to placing them in your home, so we are sure the rewarding experience is good for both you and the animals.

Volunteering:

Not all members are currently able to foster due to their home circumstances. We still need help in many other ways such as transporting, adoption events, home visits, fundraisers, web design, printing skills, and more… If you have time to help even of you can’t foster, we will still love to have you as a member! Contact us for more information on volunteer opportunities available. ACRA does allow junior members also, so if you have a youth under 18 who would like to do community service and loves dogs, we can always use their help too and we will sign off on their community service log.
